Emotions

Apr. 16/11
..... her youth
Here she is, enjoying a new dress, wrapped in "Lovey" (her special blanket), wearing a pretty clip she chose recently, with her face painted at a local event.

Apr. 17/11
..... her love
She loves our cats so much.  She is really showing her love for animals lately - petting them, taking care of them, etc.
She wants to work at an animal shelter one day.

Apr. 19/11
..... her commitment
She is still loving taekwondo, and of course, the teachers there.  She loves Gina - her private teacher right now - until she is ready to go back to class.

Apr. 20/11
..... her affection
She loves Danielle too - the first person who she met and who gave her her first lesson at taekwondo.

Apr. 21/11
..... her attachments.
Another teacher she loves is Clint.
She is sad that he is leaving.  He has joined the military.
:(

Apr. 21/11
..... her emotions
She is such an emotional child.  It's frustrating and difficult to deal with sometimes, but I love that she has such strong emotions.
She feels so passionately for things.

Taekwondo, reading, and lots of clubs.

Apr. 5/11
..... her collections
Although this isn't one of her better collections (the books are way too easy for her).
She also collects eyeballs (yes, eyeballs), PVC pipe corners & joints, gems, t-shirts with talking inanimate objects, airplanes, and ...
more book sets like:
the Warrior series
Garfield books
Magic Unicorn series
Animal Rescue books
and the Frog Princess series.
Oh yeah, and reading medals.
And stuffies, of course - especially Webkinz and cats.

Apr. 6/11
..... her ability to overcome her shyness.

Apr. 7/11
...... her healing speed
It's truly amazing how fast she heals.  Whether it is recovering from a brain tumour or a bruise/cut healing - she heals fast!

Apr. 8/11
..... her comedy

Apr. 9/11
..... her thoughtfulness
She wrote these notes to us, so that we would see them the next morning when getting our coffee.

Apr. 11/11
..... her strength
Her physical strength has definitely improved since beginning taekwondo.

Apr. 12/11
..... her love for the earth.
Ever since she was about 3 or 4 years old, Jaymi has loved the earth.  She used to hug every tree we came across.  She used to yell at people who didn't shut their cars off while chatting.
Now, she is in the school ECO Club, and is constantly picking up garbage off of the sidewalk to throw out properly, making sure things are recycled, shutting off as many lights as she can, and pushing us to become better, more earth-friendly people.
I love that about her.

Apr. 13/11
..... her ability to push through difficult things.
When she really wants to, she can do that.
She was having so much trouble with the taekwondo nunchucks, and was getting so frustrated, until an instructor helped her practice for a few minutes in a private lesson.
Ever since then, she has been practicing and practicing, and has improved soooo much!
I love that she is learning that practice makes perfect.

Apr. 14/11
..... her faith
Jaymi is in a club at school called Faith Girls.
Faith Girls teaches the girls to be strong, kind girls who are happy with themselves and care about other people.
Last week, they were lucky enough to meet Mrs. Canada.  She spoke to them about the false reality of what we see on tv and in magazines, and what it means to be beautiful on the inside.

More Spring Break Fun!

Mar. 25/11
..... I love her way with words :)

Mar. 26/11
..... I love her giggles
I took this while she was putting on a performance with a friend, for us.

Mar. 27/11
..... I love her fascination with books
She is speeding through this wonderful series of books, and loving it!

Mar. 28/11
..... I love her passion for causes
(this was taken on a visit to the SPCA)

Mar. 29/11
..... I love her craziness ;)
Her newest stuffie 'germ' (they're actually called giant microbes) - this is a giant brain cell (next to her regular-sized one)

Mar. 30/11
..... I love her joy for the little things in life, like free fudge samples

Mar. 31/11
..... I love her dancing

Apr. 1/11
..... I love her friendships
Connecting with an old friend, after not seeing them for over 2 years!  It was like no time had passed at all.

I missed two days - Apr. 2nd and Apr. 3rd.

Apr. 4/11
..... I love her dedication
This was her first private lesson at taekwondo since surgery - 1 more month and she'll be allowed to be back in the full taekwondo class!
